Pau has to be carrying some kind of injury. Or - yet another conspiracy- he’s fallen out with Emery. He’s talking about structure, and Torres was one of the main factors in correcting that and rhe early season form. And he’s stuck on the bench #avfc

I think that’s where I politely disagree. Luiz couldn’t get in the Forest side under more than one manager. Bailey wasn’t playing for Roma. How does that translate to them playing for a top 4 side?

Still this 2 weeks later. The team as it is just isn’t top 4/5 quality. Our results are reflecting the quality level of the team - mid table, win some, lose some. The team that got us top 3 isn’t available and we have to stop assuming games like Leeds at home are a guaranteed 3 points. #avfc

I disagree that “on paper” there is more than enough. Bailey had 1 good season and was deemed not good enough. Luiz hasn’t played well since he left us, and arguably his form faltered before he left. Barkley -effort but isn’t Kamara/Tielemans level. What are you seeing in the squad that’s different?

I saw someone imply that London clubs were helped with the draw for the 5th round. I know it makes little difference what the fanbase say on social media, but just think it makes us look a bit silly to talk about conspiracies

There’s credence to the idea that PL and UEFA financial rules are designed to ensure the clubs with money beforehand retain their position, but talking about the corrupt Sky 6 and rigged FA Cup draws does us no favours at all #avfc

I think the problem here is this thought of “despite the injuries, the squad should have enough”. I disagree. I think it underestimates the quality those 3 players with long term injuries bring to the team. We only brought in Luiz, and him and Bogarde are a massive step down

It seems to me like a lot of talk amongst fans (and the more popular podcasts) was delusional if we thought Luiz, Abraham and Bailey were going to fill the gap of Kamara, Tielemans and McGinn. This is going to be painful. #avfc

I still firmly believe restricting the age of social media access is the wrong approach. Responsibility should fall on the companies and education rather than removing connection and community.

This was relating to Google (YouTube) and Apple (Music) accounts. Simple settings restrict apps to the point they’re not fit for purpose. Or menus take you in loops. It shouldn’t be this hard

Just went through the process of restricting access to various things on my 8 year olds iPad, and let me tell you, it made me so angry with how difficult it is. Sure, you can just totally lock things down, but trying to reach a middle ground is impossible.
