On the first Tuesday of every February, the #GreenParty of #AlleghenyCounty hosts an annual convention where we hold elections. We'll be electing members to the GPOAC Executive Committee and to represent GPOAC as delegates to the Green Party of #Pennsylvania State Committee.
On Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 5:00 p.m., we'll host the #GreenParty of #Pennsylvania candidate forum!

According to the standard procedures, speakers are supposed to get three minutes. Today was a budget discussion (~70 people signed up) and earlier in the year was a ceasefire resolution discussion (~300 people signed up).
Any time there is a lot of feedback, they limit the time. Democracy fail!
Allegheny Cnty Council limited agenda-related comments to one minute per speaker.
If members don't want to hear what citizens have to say, they shouldn't be on the council.
