You could pick a random group of people off the street during any administration and they would do better than elected representatives have over the past forty years . In fact, that was kind of the idea. Career politicians aren’t democratic.
Prior to the new Gulf War, our economy was slowing, inflation rising, our fiscal condition deteriorating.
Now we are going to prices rise further, the economy slow further, our fiscal condition worsen. All of this makes what Trump is doing in the Middle East look far more reckless.
Things are starting to spiral. We managed to go a full four years during Trump 1.0 without a major foreign policy crisis, but no chance we'd dodge that bullet twice in a row. Dems need to have real campaigns everywhere possible because it's impossible to know what things will look like in Nov.
