yes! yes!! it was honestly baffling to me to see the sh:f dev team assert that their game was somehow different than the previous sh games (especially 1 and 3) in the assertion of its themes. because the early silent hills have always had some varying degree of feminist critique!

Live service game marginally profitable? Lie that you will foresee exciting future and then shut down.
I obviously don't think all service games should launch as free-to-play / freemium experiences, but man it's almost like asking anyone to invest $40+ in them in this economy is a big ask, to say nothing of several fraught attempts that have crashed and burned and left player bases in the lurch.
