I also think presidents should have 1 first yr term & 1 four yr 2nd term to bring more consistency to US policies & employees, etc. If we get the rest of your suggestions an initial 6yr term won't be too much. We need greater continuity & less pressure on the 2nd term election after the 1st 2 yrs.
