Today, a Brussels court ruled that the Flemish government must block transit to Israel of all goods that can be used in military equipment, citing Israel's breaches of int'l law.
There can be no business as usual with a country committing genocide.
The world's most famous medical NGO concludes Israel is committing genocide.
It joins a consensus of genocide scholars, including in Israel, and NGOs like Amnesty International.
No politician or journalist can claim "I did not know at the time!" to evade future justice.
Israels Führung verkündet nun offen, was längst sichtbar war: die dauerhafte Besetzung des Gazastreifens und die Vertreibung der noch lebenden Bevölkerung. Wer jetzt mit „humanitären Bedenken“ kommt, aber zuvor geschwiegen hat: Es reicht nicht. Es wirkt heuchlerisch. Nennt es beim Namen: Genozid.
Ich hoffe da ist ne ordentliche Portion Zynismus dabei. Wie schlecht deutscher Rechtsstaat und Sicherheitsapparate gegen Rechtsextremismus funktionieren ist ja regelmäßig offensichtlich.
Da von funktionierenden Rechtsstaat zu sprechen ist ev. gewagt.

Ihre Infragestellung seit Beginn des Krieges hatte vor allem ein Ziel: die Fortführung der Gewalt zu ermöglichen.
