As a about to be 36-year-old woman I can say that my art is so much better than it was when I was at my peak and "famous" at 21-29. I do miss the fans and the privileges though, it's funny how fast those things go away when contracts end. It's certainly been difficult starting over
What's wild about that statement is that those of us that did get a big break in our 20s end up restarting later. It's almost harder because the audience you get only wants one thing from you.
I got my big break at 21 and it lasted till 29. Now I'm 35 and have had to start over. It sucks.
Would love to do art for that. I've been in several anthology's but none so eruptive. It could be quite the incendiary collection.
