I mean, if they've mortgaged themselves by borrowing against their paper wealth, and that paper wealth drops precipitously via boycotts such that they are underwater on their loans, then you can definitely hurt them. There's a reason why a certain fashy billionaire is panicking right about now.
China has increased its retaliatory tariffs on pigs, among other goods. While egg prices remain high, bacon might become more affordable. However, our pig farmers could suffer financially and potentially face bankruptcy.
I don't recall President Musk doing those things.
