Recently I bought Back to the Dawn ( great game so far - having a lot of fun ), and it has a minigame that’s basically just Texas Hold ‘Em, and I’ve been forced to relearn how to play.

Now I want to download an app or smth to play Texas Hold ‘Em, but all of the poker apps look BORING as SHIT

My voice doesn’t really “crack” when tired, so much as it gets a gross little layer of hoarseness that drives me absolutely insane

Thing is, it probably wouldn’t even be audible post-resampling - but I know it’s there, I know the sample is bad, and it will haunt me ‘til I die if I leave it that way

I will say, I like Miku’s new artwork - I really love LAM’s art style, but I don’t understand the choice of facial expression here.

She looks like she doesn’t know where she is.

I was considering buying Miku V6, but unless Yamaha updates their vocoder to not sound like nails on a chalkboard, I don’t think so anymore.

I wasn’t a fan of CeVIO/VoiSona’s old vocoder, but even it is much more preferable to me than this.

I really don’t want to be a downer on Miku’s new vb, especially since I said before her Japanese sounded decent, but…

Her English just sounds dreadful. Her pronunciation is pretty good, but I can’t stand the added engine noise. It’s so strong and sounds so unpleasant.

I feel like all modern platforms have a weird bias against Spanish-language material. I feel like these online platforms do everything they can to prevent me from seeing anything in Spanish specifically.

Dear YouTube: when I type "Spanish songs" or "canciones en español" into search - I distinctly, do not, in fact, mean the following

- songs in Italian

- songs in Portuguese

- Astonishingly, songs in Korean

- English pop songs with the loosest general Spanish "vibe" containing no actual Spanish

Like, if it was just to point and laugh at the AI art, I’d be willing to give it a begrudging pass. But the person who “made” the art literally makes exclusively AI slop, and they were presumably paid to make this.

If the point was to criticize it, then they shouldn’t be feeding into it.

I’ve seen a lot of people say “it’s okay because it’s thematically appropriate that the backgrounds are low-effort slop and it’s criticizing it”. Which, is kinda what I thought too…

Until I realized that there as an actual self-proclaimed AI “Artist”, paid to make this.

Annnndddd I just learned that Tokyo Manaka’s most recent song uses AI Art in its backgrounds. There goes another creator lost to the slop.
