I wish you all the best. I hope it’s going to be better.

That’s very interesting. Thanks for sharing!

Not a mind-blowing insight, but..
when it comes to training, consistency is the most important metric.

It beats intensity, planning, even motivation.

Product Market Fit is probably misunderstood.
It’s not something you create through brute force.
It either exists for the idea or it doesn’t.

I have PE as well and had horrible endurance all my life. I managed though to get my vo2 max to 42.
What’s almost impossible for us is to get it probably above 50.

What’s your vo2 max right now?

The Cooper test is underrated. No high tech, no guessing... just your body and running for 12 minutes straight. You'll know your VO2 max

I agree. We can basically start redoing everything.

crypto keeps saying β€œself-sovereign”

but then builds apps with account lock-in and platform dependencies

protocol thinking isn’t just tech β€” it’s giving up control. hard trade for most.

Can it be opaque or do we need to observe it all the time

I love everything about it

This looks like a concert. Is this really from the demonstrations?

I don’t get why Europe (and the US) isn’t blocking TikTok. Feels naive or careless to think China isn’t using the algorithm to push or suppress info. Potentially they might take in requests from Russia, Iran, ...

Germany voted overwhelmingly conservative and what we get is Left and Green because of the power dynamics. Thus I can already gratulate AfD for winning the next elections. Most likely also Kanzlerin Weidel.

Why is he suddenly in military uniform? This has to mean something…

Not sure I agree. If you bring on a Nazi with vastly different values and people go "sounds about right", then platforming the nazi was not the problem. The problem was whatever let these people agree with the nazi (education, neglect, ...)

Well... being woke means pushing marginalized voices to the center.
But yes Russia invaded Ukraine nonetheless

The 10 commitments are ethical principles and not so much rituals. I'm thinking about more simple rituals, like lighting a candle – a very popular ritual all over the world, with different meanings attached to it depending on occasion and culture

Atheism lacks rituals, but rituals without belief feel hollow. Religion is like a placeboβ€”you must believe for it to work. Can there be rituals for rationalists that aren’t empty?

I can't read books like "Thinking in Bets" anymore. By that I mean I can't go through myriads of anecdotes and personal stories in order to distill practical frameworks from it. You are wasting my time.
