This is evil and awful and trans people everywhere deserve better than what's happening right now.
And I think it's impossible to overtstate the pivotal role that JK Rowling played in mainstreaming hateful and false ideas about trans people. Every dollar you give her goes toward efforts like this.
You also have to consider intersex people. Like sex and gender is just far too broad and fluid to be putting people in boxes. That’s the binary system we’re trying to escape from. So just be kind and respectful. That’s all.
If they choose that label for themselves I think that’s awesome but you can’t go around forcing it on people. Just mind your business please. Not everyone experiences sex and gender the same.
Hot take I guess but people need to stop forcing queer labels on people. Saw a post from another NB saying if as a nonbinary u don’t identify as trans that’s a problem and I absolutely disagree. Not all NBs are trans. Not all people that are gender queer in any sense are necessarily trans.
