I lived in Douglaston near the Nassau border but moved down here around 1978.
I’ve been to the Knot (twice) but don’t know her. Didn’t seem like an anti-Ice kind of place, but I guess I shouldn’t assume. Thanks for sharing, it’ll be interesting to see how this plays out.

I didn’t feel this, although I’m right on top of it, but the story has a little history of the 1886 Summerville/Charleston earthquake that was the most destructive ever to hit the East Coast.
Sixteen or so great egrets standing in or near a pond. The egrets are white with orange bills and eight or nine of them are reflected in the water. In the shore across from them is a great blue heron and a few anhingas or cormorants are near the water to the right of most of the egrets.
An egregious ingress of egrets I guess, but I digress… #birds
