I notice that here in New England sometimes. Folks will go to a town that borders theirs, even if they're on the opposite side of town from that border. But once they need to go through one town to get to the next, now it's too far. 25 minutes to the first, 15 to the second, but too far?
I'm sitting at the RMV, and some little kid maybe 4 or 5 y/o keeps screaming something about.."Hey, officer! He's stepping on my 6-7!! It's my 6-7!!" Looks like at a sibling. For the last half hour.
I'd be annoyed if he was screaming anything else, but it's all I can do to not bust a gut laughing!
