"Ukraine has given more military aid to the USA in 2026 than the USA has given to Ukraine." Americans should hang their heads in shame.

A fair coin "knows" π.
Stop flipping when heads first outnumber tails. The expected fraction of heads is π/4. Average many trials → estimate π.

THE NARCISSIST’S PRAYER
That didn’t happen.
And if it did, it wasn’t that bad.
And if it was, that’s not a big deal.
And if it is, that’s not my fault.
And if it was, I didn’t mean it.
And if I did, you deserved it.

The Russians might want to be careful or Trump might get rid of even more sanctions on them.

Imagine being such a chuddite imbecile that you manage to commit a war crime on national TV through your habit of talking entirely in stock phrases.

Please drive carefully: scientists plan to transport volatile antimatter for first time Cern researchers are testing traps capable of moving antimatter, which explodes into energy as soon as it comes into contact with regular matter

Antimatter Trucker is finally a job title! But don’t worry, this isn’t going to be “The Wages of Fear, 2026”:

“The device on Cern’s truck will carry about 1,000 antimatter particles, weighing about a billionth of a trillionth of a gram. …

With the right processing, the starting molecule (top) would form the center structure. Directed application of voltages could convert it among the three forms on the bottom row.
One consequence of all of this is that the molecule isn't really stable. The researchers made it in isolation, and it was kept at an extremely low temperature and isolated, sitting on the surface of a salt crystal. The second is that it's probably impossible to design a series of chemical reactions that could synthesize it. Instead, the researchers started with a three-ring molecule with lots of chlorines attached and used a scanning tunneling microscope to apply precise voltages to specific atoms, breaking a few carbon-carbon bonds and popping off most of the chlorine atoms.

At this point, it seems that the safest assumption is that the Trump administration simply doesn't care if the Russians are sharing information on US military assets with Iran. Putin can do what he likes, however damaging to the US, with no fear of a US response.🧵

This is a technical story with stunning strategic implications. It is quite possible the US launched a massive war because Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff lacked the technical expertise to even understand what the Iranians were offering in negotiations. Absolute idiocy.
