Council workers, lol. We actually call these buzzards, a lady yesterday called them turkey buzzards. We have crows and ravens, and our crows will. If it's fresh, even a Bald Eagle will partake. But the vultures are the main cleanup.

I thought it was a Turkey Vulture. They are our true signs of spring in Western PA. Wonderful video.

Remembering Rusty. Today is his "unofficial" birthday (since I never knew his actual birthday, but I think that March 10th is pretty close). He passed away at the age of 19 on November 6, 2010. Even though he got a bit grumpy in his old age, I still miss him a lot. #cats #memories

When I told an acquaintance that he was playing bassoon, she said he would be very popular since very few people choose the bassoon. He also plays clarinet in the school marching band.

I agree 100% with you that music & the arts need to be taught in schools. I am proud to have a 15 y/o granddaughter who's a violinist & has performed in local symphony orchestras here in western PA and my grandson, the bassoonist, is hoping to achieve the same thing when he's a couple years older.
