Anyway think I'll be dwelling on this for a bit but I can tell you all this: the world is even colder now someone so bright and loving and genuine is gone. And these are things I can't share with many about Allison. But I wanted the words out there somewhere.

I kid you not this woman has 897 friends on Facebook and I can guarantee you those are genuine people she has made an impact on. Be it in person or online.

I hate that I never managed to see her after I left that job but I know she saw my gran and always asked after me.

When I'm back home next I'll get a photo of the stone she painted for me with a kind message. She made one for my mum too - unsure if she made one for everyone but knowing Ally, she probably did. That's just the kind of person she is.

Still processing news that I saw today of an old work colleague and friend passing away.

She wasn't that much older than me in the grand scale of things, and she was so full of life and kindness that it feels like a cruel joke and not reality?
