I know all the counter arguments but seeing ads for Oscars and Grammies while Rome burns feels especially obscene right now. What if all that wealth was devoted to restoring democracy??

PLEASE contact Democrats in House and Senate to urge them to NOT help Republicans keep the government open. Voters need to experience the consequences of the election. And, yes, sadly more economically fragile citizens will suffer the most.

We gave—for us—a LOT of money to ActBlue and the democrats over the past few years. We’ve shifted all of it to ACLU until the Democrats can demonstrate some leadership. Start by keeping Schumer away from the media. He reinforces all that normal people dislike about Democrats
