Was at RSPB Ouse Washes today counted 11 dead swan, 1 Whooper with eyes closed having trouble keeping its head up & very lethargic, a moribund Greylag also showing similar behaviour & a Canada goose dying as it tried to get to dry land. Also Marsh Harriers, Kites & Buzzard feeding on the carcasses

My nest box tonight bird in the entrance & heat souce at other end, based on your calculation they should be fledging any day now if indeed that heat source are young.

I did this after Swarovski sent me some replacement eyecups that the raingaurd destroyed

I had a Swift box up for 4 years with no interest. I bought a Swift caller last year & immediately had a pair show interest. They failed to rear any young but did make a rudimentary nest & lay a single egg. Bought another box & 🤞for this year
