The 62 year old cash only Murry & Paulβs in Brookland is definitely a time capsule to yesteryear.

Near where the new part of the MBT starts is Legacy Memorial Park - a pretty moving memorial to the 9 who died in the Red Line crash in 2009.

Biked other day up to Silver Spring, the across to Hyattsville on Sligo Creek Trail, and back down to DC on the Anacostia River Trail.
