Chuku Modu. Never heard of him? Check out The Good Doctor on Netflix
@t1ms
Keen on theatre, rugby, cricket (most sports, really), food and drink, particularly wine, holidays, humour and writing. I've written two thrilling adventure novels for 9-12 yr olds, both sadly unpublished as yet. New to Bluesky so finding my feet.

What happens to his careful coiffure when he takes his cap off? That would be some hat hair!
Msnd. Unmatchable comedy. Best play ever.

Did you enjoy the gritty thrilleriness of The Cut Throat Trial?
Fancy some more, sunshine?
Kill All The Lawyers will be hitting the shelves next year.
Consider your appetites whetted.
Another great day to cast a film or play with actors whose birthday it is. Paul Mescal (30), the lovely Gemma Arterton (40) and the evergreen Sir David Jason (86) would make any film a success, surely, though I am struggling to find a suitable storyline...
Another brilliant day to cast a film or play with actors who have a birthday today. Sir Anthony Hopkins (88), Sir Ben Kingsley (82) and the delectable Sarah Miles (84) though she retired from acting 20-odd years ago. But then she married Robert Bolt twice, so she might be mad enough to act again.
Has anyone offered ET: the Eggstraterrestrial yet?
The huevo the Dragon
It's another good day to cast a play or film with actors who share birthdays today. Jude Law (53), Jennifer Ehle (56) and Ted Danson (78, amazingly) would bring star quality and there would undoubtedly be room for a cameo from Jon Voigt (87).
Relaxing after Xmas lunch. Roast pork this year as we're not fond of turkey, and it was delicious. Lashings of gravy, fab roasties, lovely veg and crackling - what's not to like? And a good Argentinan red to go with. Now in a stupor before watching Raiders of the Lost Ark. Merry Christmas all!

I directed The Hole, one of his one-act plays, at drama school. Hilarious and bonkers. He had a real talent for absurd dialogue.
Just back from watching the BFG at the RSC. OMG, it's FAB! Such imagination, such brilliant staging, terrific music, great acting and the puppeteers are so good you don't even notice them. The RSC has a GBH (Great Big Hit) on its hands.
I managed to drive around Hull for half an hour with a pair of shoes on the roof of my car. I couldn't work out why passers-by were gesticulating at me...
I think this was replicated at Worcester College in 1971. Perhaps they recreated it from a 1949 production. Spectacular!
You wait till you're 70!
My blackbird necklace design. I hand-sculpt each of my bird necklaces individually in recycled silver.
It would be so helpful if you could RT my post above about my Etsy shop. I haven't been able to work for more than half the year due to severe depression/a breakdown. If you see this & could spare a few moments for a RT it would help me put my designs in front of a few more eyes. Thankyou so muchπΏ

Has anyone read my beautiful (credit to my lovely publisher), calming, life-affirming book? Do you think it would make a nice Christmas gift? Can you help me let people know about it? Here it is: geni.us/ThePlaceImin π

Another good day to cast a film with actors sharing 10 November birthdays. Hugh Bonneville 62, Tartan Egerton 36 and Walton Goggins 54 (of White Lotus fame) would be an awesome core of acting talent. If only we could revive Richard Burton too. He would have been 100 today. Happy birthday all.
Crikey, Neil, it won't be the same without you! Best wishes on your impro retirement, may your business work go from strength to strength. Or are you retiring completely?
THIS IS SO GOOD
6 Nov is a good day to cast a film with actors sharing the same birthday. Nigel Havers 74, Sally Field 79, Thandiwe Newton 53, Ethan Hawke 53 and Emma Stone a sprightly 37. Perhaps a James Bond (retired)? I'm sure Havers would love being 0074...
Am I the only one to imagine casting a play or film starring actors who share the same birthday? Today offers Sir Derek Jacobi (87), Catherine Deneuve (82), Christopher Lloyd (87) and the lovely Saffron Burrows (only 53). What a cast! Any thoughts on a play?
