Thanks guys!
Our first #Generator project is now complete. Over 40 young people auditioned for 10 places, working with 3 artists and a team of producers to create a unique devised performance for over 150 local audience members at our brand new venue in #Wigan. #TheatreSky
Would love to get an add to this is we may? Immersive site-specific theatre based in Stoke-On-Trent!
A young girl wearing a blue top and blue jeans and a yellow rucksack is opening a large wooden door with the sign βRushton & Sonsβ. Two other actors are in the shadows and peering through the doors to a mysterious looking dark warehouse.
A 1976 Turnerβs bus is parked on the road at nighttime. Its headlights are on and inside the bus is lit. It is dark burgundy in colour and a group of audience members are exiting the bus with the help of two actors.
We are on a 1970s bus. A young girl wearing a blue top and blue jeans is clutching a teapot as she tries to steady herself on the bus. A 1970s bus conducter wearing a white shirt and grey trousers and a beige and red conductor jacket has one hand on the bus rail and one hand on his black and red cap as he tries to steady himself on the bus. He has a vintage ticker machine across his body.
In the time we got the yes from our bid - part of our venue had collapsed! Our show theme was βtravelβ, so to keep this sense for our audience, we secured a 2nd venue & a vintage bus to get us there. What ensured was madcap & exciting immersive story telling. Loved it. #immersive #sitespecific
Came here to find that! Can we be added too?! ππ»
Two performers are bathed in blue light and flinging their bodies backwards away from an old fashioned desk.
A young girl is smiling excitedly wearing a blue top and blue jeans and holding a teapot.
A young man in an orange tank top and green trousers in talking on an old fashioned phone. The long telephone wire is wrapped around him and two audience members who are wearing jeans, duffer jackets and backpacks.
A young many is dressed in casual 1940s clothes and holding a brown teapot lid on one hand. He is stood in front of a 1940s pottery wheel.
Well, hereβs to hoping this will all be a breath of fresh air! First post is gonna be about our latest show, Anya & the Potter. An immersive family adventure about home & the importance of our global community! Twas a mad, beautiful one!
