I’m out of my depth here as I don’t know much about naval matters but I’m guessing that no USN surface vessel was present so that’s why the sailors weren’t rescued by one, and the vessel was targeted in international waters as it had just left India and was heading towards the theatre of war

To build your elites-only utopia you would blithely destroy communities and flatten 45,000 acres of English countryside.
Your #ForestCity1 fantasy must not become reality.

Lol, my surname was Gorton-Hargreaves before I adopted my wife’s surname Burton to become Burton-Hargreaves, we come from that part of the county, and seeing as my ancestors were engineers it irks me a lot when I hear “immigrants built Gorton & Denton” because they didn’t, my ancestors did!
