Yeah, the monetization and incentiviziation of engagement metrics has steadily diminished the meaningfulness of online interactions. People are just acting and reacting, farming engagement, but they're not really ENGAGING
I imagine that someone who "doesn't like Pokémon" isn't going to get much out of a game populated by Pokémon, where you use different moves from Pokémon, and probably built around references to the Pokémon world and its lore

According to the Behind the Scenes, during filming of this part of the movie, Piper Rubio fully embraced the sinister nature of this version of her character, both on and off camera. I never lost faith in Pixar. Even when a movie seems predictable or hackneyed, like Elemental, Pixar just breathes its own kind of life into the story
