I wish i had more art or cool stuff to post but I’ve been too busy raw dogging qualitative research for my thesis… the good thing that came out of it is I discovered I enjoy interviewing people which I really didn’t expect …I wonder if I can do that and provide some kind of value with it later on 🤔

I might be coping but dw I think even like this they’ll probably have their own thing to look back on (even if it’s objectively worse🙂‍↕️)

yep at some point we might have overdone it a bit… like especially in areas like gaming, toys and entertainment where it’s supposed to be fun/ creative or instill curiosity😌 I especially miss seeing those totally extra but charming lil gimmicks xD

is this just nostalgia talking or has the world genuinely become more bland?

Are we (genZ especially) collectively starting to lose our childhood wonder?

Or could the pessimism we seem to be feeling have been genuinely somewhat influenced by those same design choices?

If so… could we revert it?

I grew up in the 00s with vibrant, bubbly, fun and welcoming products everywhere. But as I moved into my teens, I was quite vocal about how I found minimalism and flat design more appealing
