I've only done that route once, and have made a point to start the other 5 or 6 WA->SF trips from Seattle/western WA.

I just looked at the maps, and I'm pretty sure we drove down 97, from the Gorge I-90 exit all the way to Redding. I don't remember if the Washington part of 97 was any better than the Oregon part, so you may just be a more confident road tripper than I if you're good with 97.

Driving through Eastern OR is highly unpleasant imo (twisty narrow roads and sparsely populated, not a lot to look at, few places to stop for breaks, spotty cell service). I prefer going over to Seattle and down I5, so that I'm not in the middle of nowhere for so long.

Okay! I'm actually working on a FC ICC calculation right now, so I can see how easy it is compared to writing from scratch and submit a PR if I end up using your package.

Can it be wrangled into working for functional connectivity matrices?
