I know it may be too soon after some wonderful results today to already be thinking about this, but given the form of Martinelli and Trossard, is it time to start to think about Madueke on the left again?

Can we bring on Madueke for Zubi and move Saka to 10 and Eze to 8
Gyokeres caps off a great night by actually winning a long ball from Raya
And just like that..I love Arsenal so much again
Ok - him walking off makes me feel better
Saka looked really good today - this doesn’t look great
Good to see the Spurs fans meet the low expectations we have for them by throwing a flair on to their own pitch
Leo - track your runner
This looks like one of those games that just don’t work for Leo
The man can’t hold up a long ball to save his life, but boy can he hit the shit out of the ball
Declan…what are you doing
I get that it’s fun to talk about, but I hope we don’t all get too far over our skis, let’s remember he’s one of the best right wings in the world. Maybe it’s ok just to let him be great out there
Odegaard appeared to be very focused on making quick passes and taking as few touches as possible. He needed to trust his instincts more and he did today and it looked good
That’s why I was checking their line up - just hoping he gets an opportunity to experience as much as possible
Just noticed he wasn’t in Marseille squad and wasn’t sure why
Is Ethan cup tied?
And how good was the Norgaard touch
Feeling for you today as well. With all that’s happening in Minneapolis, I am sure you could have used Arsenal to bring you a bit of joy
@arseblog.com @arsenalvisionpodcast.com @gunnerblog.bsky.social @charleswatts.bsky.social I love you guys and listen almost every day, but after that, I think I need a break. I am sure you will produce great content, but I need to cleanse my palate this week - have a wonderful week
he had a view mistakes due to being overly excited, but I thought Madueke changed our tempo and brought a bit of what we needed - some urgency, some drive, and someone who wants to make something happen. I think it’s time for Saka to bring a bit of this and take the next step to becoming Salah
We need someone, and I don’t want to get into a meaningless discussion about who should be captain, but someone who wants the ball, wants to score, and wants to be the man. When it’s going well, it can be the team as a whole, but eventually you need someone to be HIM
I hate you Arsenal
We’d been playing with fire, Saliba back pass, Saliba not knowing someone was behind him, and then finally it got us with Zubi back pass…need to tighten up
I think what you’re saying doesn’t match the title of the article - it literally says that the tactics of Arsenal and Liverpool are boring fans - so that impacts how the rest is viewed. Seems like you may want a chat with the headline writers
It really wasn’t meant to just argue about you personally or just this article but more about the narrative in general. European teams seem less likely to play low blocks and the Champions League games are therefore a bit faster paced. I don’t think it’s a coincidence
Boring fans to death is in the title and I know you may not write that. I was talking more about the narrative that Arsenal and set pieces are the reason for boring football but I would love to see more about teams lack of willingness to come out and play causing much of these results
The article is title states the season is boring fans to death and this is one of the first paragraphs, so, not sure what I mentioned that the article doesn’t, but simply saying that, it doesn’t seem to be the pressing that is keeping large amounts of goals from being scored, but the low blocks
Not sure why Arsenal being good at set pieces automatically seems to equate to boring football?? No thrashings comes down to more low blocks. You say Arsenal play more compact than City yet it was City who sat back when they played. It’s hard to score a lot of goals when teams have 10 men in the box
@scott.cannonstats.com rough day for us Arsenal and 49ers fans…
Could we take off Timber or White even and play with 3 at back?
