That is insane: "Bidenβs pardons eliminated roughly $680,000 in financial penalties owed to victims or the government. In contrast, Trumpβs second-term pardons have forgiven criminal debts of more than $1.5 billion." www.cato.org/blog/embarra...
It is no surprise why this was covered up bsky.app/profile/nico...
CBS obtained video of the DHS killing of an unarmed man in Texas that DHS concealed for nearly a year, which clearly contradicts claims that he violently rammed anyone. He is shot with his brake lights on, car not moving or barely moving. Another DHS crime.
Insane! Noem admitted to ordering more than TWO DOZEN violations of the Constitution when agents illegally entered homes without judicial warrants. "ONLY 28 times" she says. When will her trial be held?
Racial profiling is the most important immigration policy in the last year. We went from having effectively no problem with this at all in January 2025 to over 2,000 people per week being arrested for no reason (and that number excludes all the US citizens targeted)
A shocking number of people responding to this video clearly did not watch the video. David is extremely opposed to the Trump administration's terrorization of immigrant communities. He is describing serious problems with the current laws which make accountability difficult.
RON JOHNSON: 650k people that are at large in America have committed crimes. Mr Bier, you're shaking your head
BIER: They're not at large. They're in prison. They're in prison where they should be
JOHNSON: They're not detained!
BIER: They're detained by the states. They're not detained by ICE
Here's my Blooski statement that Sen. Kennedy calls hyperbolic. I will defend natural law until the day I die, Senator. People's rights come from their humanity, not their government. If ordered to act unethically, you should always refuse. Do Republicans now disagree?
This is the way a lot of us would like to think we would respond to hostile questions in a Congressional hearing, but its rare to see a witness just turn the tables on a Senator like this.
Satisfying to see @davidjbier.bsky.social absolutely dogwalk Sen. Kennedy here.
Kennedy is so far gone he doesnβt even seem to realize the βBlue-skiβ posts heβs reading are the consensus view of most Americans and not some Marxist smoking gun or something.

He literally went to Oxford (the one in England, not the one in Mississippi).
We should have learned by now that nothing is hyperbole with this regime, and when they say their plan it to deport 100 million people it should absolutely be taken at face value as actual intent.
What Kennedy is doing is sinister. Heβs trying to cast Bier as alarmist when he is rightly calling out DHS tweets stating that 100 million deportations are a goal. That WOULD be ethnic cleansing and sounds eerily like the precursors established by the Nazi regime in 1933. Pay attention.
Removing 100 million people from the US? What would that do to our economy? Those people buy goods, pay rent, pay taxes, own businesses, and provide needed services. There are not 100 million dangerous criminal immigrants in the US.
Itβs pitiful to turn that much education into a heehaw skit.
He's actually a very intelligent person - a former Rhodes Scholar. He plays an idiot for the rubes back home.
Receipts:
KENNEDY: You said, 'Republicans think can troll their way to ethnic cleansing.' Did I read that correctly?
BIER: DHS tweeted for 100m deportations. That would be ethnic cleansing!
K: You don't think it's hyperbolic?
B: I think advocating 100m deportations is ethnic cleansing. Yes. Your time is up

Who would have guessed that the legal system in America was so fragile that a single crazy president could ignore the whole thing, from the Constitution right down to state laws?
Why does the Supreme Court and Congress let this demented moron act like the dictator of a banana republic?

"The Price of Safety: Stories of Abortions Denied, Careers Disrupted, and States Left Behind" details the human and economic toll of abortion bans. The anthology uses stories from patients, doctors, business leaders, and others to show the real-world consequences of abortion bans.

Trump mocked after bizarre statement at press conference, βAll the people that died through the roadside bombsβ¦ died and are, right now, walking around with no legs, no arms.β
Itβs difficult to believe this is reality. He needs to be removed immediately. Itβs not funny. Heβs a danger to the world.
Arms control debates often come down to evidence versus rhetoric. Analysts tend to focus on what satellites, inspections, and data actually show, while political leaders speak to worst case scenarios. That gap is where a lot of these arguments live. #Iran #Security
