Correction it was a gift at Christmas 2024, I kept it for this festive season, it's been waiting patiently! As it turns out conditions couldn't have been more appropriate this year, being forced to pause and hunker down in the freeze since Hogmanay.

This was a most excellent book to be snowed in with in the Highlands over the tail-end of Yuletide. A gift from @laurakaykelly.bsky.social at Christmas 2025. Maybe this is my new tradition: re-read it every year in the dark days, to remind myself the storms pass and frozen days melt away eventually.
