I hope that there are knowledgable movers and shakers working on 1) making sure we continue to have elections and 2) ways to take out a dictator. It's a flaw in our Constitution that the separation of powers isn't more protected as well as not enough insurance against tyranny. What do you think?
Have you read the work of Tad Stoermer, an author and history professor at Johns Hopkins? His podcast on the philosophy of resistance opened up questions for me, and I'd really love to know what you think.
Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro vowed Wednesday to protect the right of protesters if President Trump sends troops into Philadelphia as he has in Los Angeles.
Shapiro told The Post that it is not the presidentβs job to police American cities.
Yes. See you there?
You're the one looking out for yourself, Phil. Butt out!

About 764,000 wallets that purchased President Trumpβs meme coin have lost money on the investment, according to data shared with CNBC.
Well, I think that's great, but that's not that hard to do from outside the country.
In classic Trump fashion, the president furiously smeared Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell for contradicting White House rhetoric and lied that "groceries (even eggs!) are down."
In fact, egg prices have once again risen.

The Trump administration hit Harvard University with fresh demands late Wednesday, ordering the school to release disciplinary records of international students or risk losing the ability to enroll them at all.
Last December, South Korea's president declared martial law, bringing back memories of the nationβs authoritarian past. In response, people put their bodies on the line to protect the nation against democratic backsliding...

I'm enraged, too. The idea is not to try--for exactly the reasons you stated:they do not listen. But leave things like this article lying around where they can see it, also his LeavingMaga.org site.
Give them tools without saying anything, and above all, keep our anger in, so they aren't humiliated
Fact Checker by Glenn Kessler: In his speech to Congress, President Trump played up unproven claims of malfeasance in green-energy funding.
Is Trumpβs claim true? No, not at all.
Supported by billionaires like Musk, President Trump has laid the groundwork for the biggest heist in American historyβthe rapid destruction of Social Security, disguised as βreform.β
Because how dare Americans ask the morbidly rich to help support the middle class!
What's up with this resurgence of Nazi's? Don't they know their countrymen died ridding the world of this scourge?
"The increase to Musk's wealth since Trump was elected president three months ago is greater than all of the American aid given to Ukraine over the last three years."-- @timothysnyder.bsky.social
Do it!
Ticket sales dropped roughly 50 percent week-over-week after Trump announced his takeover, sources said. Meanwhile, performers are mulling their options.
What do we want? Scientists and health researchers! When do we want them? When we catch avian flu!
We researched events held across the country yesterday, and can confirm that there were protests in all 50 states against Trump.
If he eventually wants my vote for President, he will need to stand up to #47 now. I think he is. I hope it's enough.
I'm old enough to remember when it wasn't illegal to drive into Canada. Sadness overload.
With half the country desperate to resist the devastating acts by the 47th President, it appears what is really needed is strong leadership that can assemble a team of our best minds to come up with an alt plan.
