The tech billionaires pulling the strings do so for profit, control and market share, rather than nation state. Concepts of sovereignty and nation just become a diversion from the reality of our diminished value.

I don't think that we have much choice - as rights are stripped away (both human and legal) in favour of a 2 tier system. We won't be able to fight back or protest or have any representation. We won't be able to vote in democratic systems - as we know the scale of interference.

I don't think that's the meaning of neo or techno feudalism

Fascism may be correct. But I think neo feudalism / techno feudalism maybe a new reality that we're struggling to name as it's never happened before. And it's terrifying.

People here are distracting themselves about SF's hypocrisy.

1 in 100 years isn't a term about frequency. It's always been a term to describe size/intensity. "Once in a lifetime" is a nonsense description which deffo needs to do one in today's unpredictable hazard laden existence.
