I'm not saying that day with no adult responsibilities, where I can play video games and watch movies, guilt free, never leaving the couch would fix me...
But it definitely wouldn't hurt

Sea of Stars was is easily one of my favorite JRPGs of the modern era, I'm guessing from your hints and replies that you're giving Chained Echoes a shot.
I was hesitant, but gave in to peer pressure from @bignerdgaming.bsky.social and hope to start it soon.
I started watching the One Piece anime for the first time recently. I'm only a few episodes in but enjoying it. The episode count is a bit intimidating, though.
They just can't win
I don't know what the industry will look like in 5-10 years, outside of Nintendo. They seem to be winning the console wars by just being a constant in an otherwise volatile industry.
Developers are laid off when their live service game doesn't make millions.
They're laid off when a full price game with and live service aspects does relatively well.
They're laid off when they have creative ideas that don't line up with shareholder's greedy ambitions.
I mean, it's your world. Maybe in it soda is just really expensive, but they sell drinks for cheap to get people into the restaurant
Nothing wrong with a bit of game hopping... At this point I'm looking at my backlog as a future investment, instead of a shameful list of games I need to play for the first time or go back and finish.
Seeing a lot of posts for International Women's Day, with people's favorite video game characters, so thought I'd share some of mine that I haven't seen mentioned. In gif form:
In my hunt for a physical copy of Pokopia I actually, for the first time in a year and a half, found Pokemon and Magic: The Gathering cards.
Still no Pokopia, though. My kids would be very disappointed with me, but the Pokemon cards bought me some time
It really feels like they're doing their best to push the millennial/genX gamers away.
I'm watching the Steam Machine, because my gaming PC is 8 years old at this point, but I'm pretty sure I'll just stick with Nintendo for the foreseeable future
I guess this is what "prioritizing monetization of the installed base" looks like
Well, looks like I'm done buying digital games from Sony.
Jade Empire never gets the recognition it deserves! A remaster or remake would be amazing
I haven't used Reddit since the Reddit is Fun app stopped working
They had a perfect opportunity with the SpiderVerse movies, it could have been huge
Welp. Physical copies of Pokopia are sold out in every store in my area. I was even desperate enough to check GameStop
Hopefully the first of many, many really bad days
I think every History teacher I had growing up let us watch Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure at least once.
It kind of blew my mind seeing him in Speed and The Matrix after that.
Pretty much explains the whole toxic side of the gaming fanbase. Unreal expectations from clueless people. It's embarrassing to share a hobby with them
She looks like she's about to get hired by the Trump administration to run a department she's not even slightly qualified to run.
I don't think I've seen anybody mention it, but I miss the item trading sequence from the older games. It brought life to the NPCs of the world, giving small bits of story to them.
The overarching puzzle of trying to figure out who the next item needed to go to was a lot of fun, too.
