Lack of Religious literacy remains a huge challenge.
We need “Lived religions" literacy, that engages and understanda what "religion" is and looks like at the grassroots
Unless we change our underlying assumptions, we will continue to get religion wrong.
Is #religion violent or peaceful? Is the #Taliban a religious or political organisation? Is the #Ukraine conflict about religion? These are the wrong questions to ask. My latest book explains why, and it’s free for anyone to read here.
