I had my first job interview with an AI bot. I would have said 'no thanks' when I learned that the first step was to converse with a computer but the job is appealing and step two involves human interaction.

But trying to keep a straight face on-camera with a floating circle? That took commitment!

Driving out there is awful with that fog. Going through the Greenbelt, I couldn't see past the hood of the car.

Be careful if you're in the Ottawa area. Stay safe.

Went to an escape room where the theme was based on the Japanese anime series 'Death Note.' We struggled and ultimately ran out of time. We were later told that this room only has a 5% success rate.

Had we known that earlier, we would have chosen a different theme.

Sometimes but mostly just uncomfortable.

Wondering what to do about it. It's not like I can just go in and tighten them up.

X-ray images of a left foot: the left image looks at the top; the right, from the side. There's a plate and several screws where a joint once was.

I have hardware in my left foot after reconstructive surgery. For about a week, it feels like some of the screws that hold it together, where arthritic joins used to be, are coming loose.

Just waiting for my foot to fall off.
