the actions taken had 𝒸𝑜𝓃𝓈𝑒𝓆𝓊𝑒𝓃𝒸𝑒𝓈 for the person I was writing with I was put into a position where I had people who weren't involved in the scene in my DMs asking me to retcon it. Like ??? what?

In my experience, I've always ensured the communication is there when I introduce my villains to people. If it's clear someone can't communicate, I'm not gonna bring that side of the character out to you.

In the experience I was talking about, the communication was there in the moment, but when-

did. Sometimes, even with communication the wheels still fall off if one side doesn't properly communicate their throughts/feelings on the matter.

Some people love villains, some people love the idea of villains. I wish I had more people to do villainy stuff with.

Reminds me of the time I communicated what would happen to someone who interacted with my villain, they agreed to everything and there were constant checkins to make sure everything was fine. I was not given any sign of things going in a direction the other person did not like, but apparently it-

many folks are not willing to roleplay with an actual villain. some people actually have to defang their villains just to have some semblance of a positive rp experience (ooc wise) because hard feelings will eventually leak out.
