Grateful for deep acceptance of myself, my truth, and my roots.
Coming up on my Alanon and CoDA birthdays in 6 weeks. I would not have my sobriety without these programs, and I would not be able to be of service to others daily. The song in the link in this post is one that I listen to daily that summarizes my journey.

Grateful for the ability to slow down, listen to what my emotions are telling me, and to take the time that I need to work through whatever shows up.
Just going to be sharing some music today...

Grateful for the ability to allow myself to be vulnerable enough to come to the moments of surrender that I need to move forward.
Once we do find our middle ground, life on life's terms will eventually happen and attempt to throw us off balance. It is during those times that we use our centering or grounding practices to keep our core/recovery strong until life settles down.
My experience is that balance is a dynamic process of both/and, centering our core and remaining flexible. We often swing from one extreme to another before finding our window of tolerance/middle ground. During those times, balance is more about staying on the pendulum as it swings.
Grateful for balance today.
Hey Mya, 6 1/2 years sober plus 24 1/2 years in Alanon and 9 1/2 years in CoDA!
