This very much resonates with my experience watching TaxAct saving, saving, and saving for minutes per step.
A late 60s pocket radio called Internet Satellite.
So several years before the term Internet was coined for a network of interconnected computer networks in the mid 70s. Several years earlier a small company in Beckenham Kent sold cheapo Hong Kong made pocket radios.
They called themselves Internet.
Here is one I bought today with box.
Magnifying lid on with internal sound. Not a lot to squish inside, although it's pretty crammed in there already. Maybe get away with fixed gain and bias if I can find a good setting that works with most stuff. And replace the earphone with an AV in.

Uber just notified me that the prices of rides to my airport are the lowest in month.
I guess, I will go to the airport today then.
I also engage sometimes in pointless excercises π€

Text message received: "Soymilk is Ready"
The live test passed. Now to print the case!
It is amazing how 3D printing changed my mental frame of what is doable. Very frequently, in the past I was held back by my limited abilities to fabricate with metal and wood. Now, 30 minutes of one-off item modeling is all it takes.
is it a self-imposed deadline or you are rushing for Rue's Robot Expo?
Neat idea!
I am traveler from the future. I saw it with all legs.
Making servos... you are a real Renaissance man!
Soyalella is soy milk maker. Soyabell is IOT ESP32-based milk making cycle end notifier. 90% vibe coded with Gemini including ESP32WiFi library.
Does it really make sense to publish such code to Github when anyone can just ask for it?

This is very ambitious plan for one day π
Good advice. At this point it does not talk over Wi-Fi much but this is one of those not obvious things.
How about Thirty-two Spanish Pesetas? π

βA macro, top-down shot of a small, circular black PCB with a silver MEMS microphone labeled "MB45 S11B" in the center. Two yellow 3-pin headers are soldered on either side of the sensor. Small SMD capacitors and a resistor are visible on the board's surface.
The ears of the Soy Milk Ready SMS Notifier is this tiny, cute I2S mike.
The completed ESP32 project on the breadboard, now powered via a black USB cable with a red power LED glowing. Orange and gray jumper wires connect the ESP32 pins on the right side to the I2S microphone at the bottom. The setup is resting on a green self-healing cutting mat with a grid.
Yes, Iβm a 'soy-boy' - I make soy milk every week for my yogurt. My milk maker beeps so faintly at the end of its cycle that I frequently forget it's done.
βEnter the Soy Milk Ready SMS Notifier: an ESP32-based listener that makes sure I never miss a batch.

A clear plastic filament storage box designed for 3D printing. Inside, a black spool of filament rests on two metal roller bearings at the bottom. Several small white desiccant packets are also visible in the bottom corners. The lid has black latches and a small fitting for a filament guide tube.
There are 3d models of the printable insert for rollers with bearings and even humidity indicator π
A meme featuring two astronauts in space with the Earth in the background. The first astronaut has text above them that reads "So it was moisture...", while the second astronaut, holding a gun to the first's head, has text above them that reads "Always has been".
I keep my filament in cerial boxes with dessicant and internal humidity does not exceed 35-40%. During the printout the filament is pulled throug a port in a box via tubing. So it is under control but still, the differnce between summer and winter printouts is shocking to me.
While I can't complain about lack of dust, the printer is in an enclosure. What do dust cause?
In dry winter air everything prints perfectly on my 3d printer. So, was the humidity the source of all the troubles?
A large, yellowish-orange Chinese mantis clings to a rusty metal chain hanging outdoors. The mantis is positioned vertically, facing downward, with its long, slender body and folded raptorial front legs clearly visible. The scene is captured at dusk, with the warm glow of house lights in the background and a darkening blue sky above a suburban neighborhood.
Flashback to the summer of 2018.
On the chain of a hanging flower basket sits the only insect capable of turning its head.
βIt is looking at me.
I just got $40 power supply and received it within a week without any additional cost.

I feel like Odysseus hearing the enchanting songs of the Sirens. Tie me to the mast now!
Gemini rushes with explanation:
The "Why"
βThe text-to-speech engine is prioritizing the ISO 4217 currency code (ESP = Spanish Peseta) over the alphanumeric string. Since Pesetas were replaced by the Euro in 2002, the algorithm is definitely outdated contextually.
