Hi! Thank you so much! You're right, I haven't been on here very much, but I really appreciate the message! It means a lot to me that people are enjoying the book 5 years later!! I do have a sequel to the book, available on Amazon, & some short stories for free on my website: ginger-smith-author.com
The #Christmas tree isnβt complete until #TheTwilightZone ornament is hung. A special appearance by Marty McFly - honorary member of The Twilight Zone. #BackToTheTwilightZone
Watching Earl Holliman's fantastic performance on #thetwilightzone. Thanks to Earl's performance of Mike Ferris, we got to meet Anthony Fremont, Markie Foley, Martin Sloan, Talky Tina and many other unforgettable characters. #thankyou #rip
Wow. It makes sense though. LOTR was such a massive undertaking.
What's your class called? I took a Tolkien class in college, and it was one of my all time favorite classes!! Our professor was amazing.
It took 5 years? I didn't know that. Cool! Good luck with your class!
I'll be reading here! Come check it out!!
Watching an old Twilight Zone. The creep factor is high in this one. ("Come Wander with Me")
Hit a milestone today in the new WIP: 13000 words! When I finish this book, I'm going back to revise my previous one that needed to rest a while. (I'm also querying a different one!) If you like space opera, check out my first trad-published on Amazon: www.amazon.com/Rushs-Edge-G...
Y'all, discoverability is harder than ever. With Twitter all but gone and publishing being --in a mood-- your favorite authors are floundering. We don't know how to reach our fans or find new readers. Telling someone about a book you love is a really big deal. That's the #1 reason people buy books!
Been a few days since Chuck said hi to you guys. He made me post this. π
We have a Halloween trailer in our neighborhood! The kids just spill out! Hope the candy lasts!π¬π
Such an important book!! Loved it.

There is no power on earth for authors like word of mouth. Especially with the death of Twitter, so many of us have lost huge chunks of our reach. So please, if you love a book, tell your friends and talk it up on your social media. No voice is too small, every single word counts. And thank you!
Not in the habit of seeing things as symbols, but maybe this rainbow is a sign that something good is going to happen soon with the book I'm querying or the one I'm currently writing. I can dream anyway. π€π»π€π»

It's exhausting to be so cute.
This lil guy was out cold, sleeping in the crook of my arm. π§‘
Is that what was wrong with Chuck during his seven hour nap yesterday? π
I found him outside my classroom. It was the spring and we'd had a cold night. He beat his wings for a while as if he were warming up, then he flew away.
Wow. π€¦πΌββοΈ
Headed to NC mountains on fall break!
Orange cat in sunshine.

Looking for something to read? π See below. π
This guy is sitting at my feet, helping me write queries! Isn't that sweet? I love this little pumpkin. π§‘

There's an interview with me in Interzone: interzone.digital/out-of-trauma/ Kelly Jennings talked to Martha Wells about creating Murderbot, engendering empathy, and the after-effects of trauma.
