I am a huge Shakespeare fan, have acted in, crewed, or production managed about 20 of them, and I HATE Midsummer. People always look at me like I have two heads when I say that but I find watching a bunch of people do stupid things with no repercussions makes for bad theater.

That is an excellent novel.
I would suggest to you a trilogy starting with “Dear Committee Members” by Julie Schumacher. They’re hysterical and bittersweet all at once.

What I love is that people who love Shakespeare almost always have what they consider his BEST play and that person’s FAVORITE play.
I think his best is Richard III but my favorite is As You Like It.

It always bugs me when these lists are posted because it does the Orioles’ work for them, listing which free agents to ignore.
I was the same way. I got a B+ one quarter in AP European History and my Ph.D. in history-holding dad had a fit. I’m teaching my kids that effort counts, at least with me. Results may vary but not my pride in how hard they’re working.
