Thank you! I was actually going to polish this one into a finished piece but I think the rough messiness of it works with the idea of it being a child’s traumatic memory.

Hostilities between the State of Seleukia and the Cormac Regime began as cross-border slave raids targeting Seleukia’s caprines, later including the poor perkan peasants that worked the wheat-producing inland border regions. These areas, unlike the urban centers, saw little protection from attacks.
