PFC-DMN and hippocampus encode value maxima in exploitation, but their synchronization peaks in exploration.

Interesting how BOLD in both prefrontal DMN and hippocampus responds to high values favoring exploitation, however their connectivity instead reflects challenging value landscapes requiring exploration.
