Wasn’t expecting to draw tonight, but here is a quick lichen mari

#Cladonia tbh do sometimes look like a made up #lichen.

Large lichen specimen, approximately 3 inch in longest dimension, growing on a twig laying on pine needles. The specimen has a pale cyan-to-green coloration on the dorsal surface and a deep blue-to-black coloration on the plantar surface. The plantar surface is also covered in very fine hairs.

Most of the tree lichens I saw in Estonia were grey/ white, so this nice yellow/ orange thallus stood out. It could be Gyalolechia flavorubescens.
