Today. Almost every gas station had regular gas at $3.45+ a gallon. I ordered my Trump "I did that" stickers and I'm putting them on the pump every time I get gas.

That's the "Driving on the edge" thrill until that little light on the gas gauge pops on and then you push it even more. When I was younger, I've driven practically on fumes to just get takeout. 😆
In the long run, you're probably spending the same amount of money but never let your tank go below half. Filling half a tank doesn't feel as painful. When I get to 3/4 full, I top it off if I see a station with a five cent lower price.
