Im not familiar with kaleidoscope as a technique. To accomplish this I cut out the same piece of the pattern again and again. It’s cut one at a time.

Today I trained with a local upholsterer, making this bolster with an invisible zipper on an industrial machine. I feel like I leveled up at sewing!
