I just don’t think The X-Files is very realistic… why aren’t all the other characters constantly talking about how good-looking Mulder and Scully are?

Personally I loved it, was socialized plenty with sports and group classes, etc., and was really depressed when I had to go to private school because I was used to self-directed education, but I would def be willing to sacrifice that to prevent the abuse that happens to tons of other kids.

Potentially it could be okay? But there really should be much more oversight regarding curriculum, checking in with physical and mental health professionals, and even socialization. It would be really hard to implement in a beneficial way for kids.

I was homeschooled on and off in elementary school, and I knew a bunch of other homeschooled kids growing up. As an adult I randomly found out several of my friends had also been homeschooled. There’s a huge difference imo between the folks whose parents did it for religious vs secular reasons […]

I need thoughts & prayers right now… knitted for hours at the doctor’s office while fasting & getting blood drawn and realized later maybe I should not have been knitting while light-headed so now I have to un-do almost all of my progress! 😭
