Dear Democrats:
Winning special elections by record numbers? Anticipating getting the House and Senate back next year?
Great!
But we (the American people) are NOT electing you to be "less bad" than Republicans. We want change. We want accountability. You're going to give us that.
Or you're next.
You know, sometimes a show just doesn't work for you. I love absurdist humor, but "Tim and Eric's Awesome Show Great Job" just irritated me. Still haven't figured out why.
Hi folks, we're taking the night off to catch up on some rest. See you soon!
Good Tuesday Everyone!! We are going to have to postpone recording to Thursday/Tuesday 2.0 because some of the crew is down with the sickness.
Enjoy watching some live action One Piece in the meantime and see yall on Thursday at 8.40 pm edt twitch.tv/geeklyinc
playing some super mario* on stream.
come hang out

My tattoo is 20 years old now, weird. Happy Mario Day.
Getting ready to run "The Tomb of Horrors" for some newer players and i'm giving them twenty minutes to research it and take notes before we go in. They're allowed to use their notes during the game, but not their phones.
The tomato joke i mentioned:
A family of Tomatoes are walking down the street. A Mama Tomato, a Daddy Tomato, and a Baby Tomato. The Baby Tomato starts to fall behind so the Daddy Tomato walks back and sqishes him.
Daddy Tomatoe says, "Ketchup".

It started when i was in high school and the joke was, "Here's a fifteen-year-old talking like a man
in his forties about his ex-wife!" When people respond with, "You were married?!" i'd make a self-deprecating joke about how i'm igly and unlovable.
I've even escalated the joke over the years to have multiple ex-wives and ex-husbands, almost all of whom i speak well of. I've even made up backstories for some of them. The joke needs to become more absurd as time goes on to keep it a "Joke".
I've run into situations where people didn't realize that i was joking, and i try to clear up the confusion as quickly as possible, but i do also believe that this is me gaslighting people.
I really don't like lying, either doing it or having it done to me. "Jokes" are an exception to this, in my mind it is only "lying" if your intention is to have people believe what you say. For example: i often make jokes about "My Ex-Wife!" as a bit even though i've never been married.
Yo! Looking for some differing opinions.
In my mind it isn't lying if you don't expect others to believe you.
For example, if i tell a joke about a family of tomatoes walking down the street, i am telling this with the assumption that you know there weren't actually any walking, talking tomatoes.
Whenever anyone asks me which direction to go i always say, "Head East".
If they ask me why i'll respond, "Never Been Any Reason".
I really hate having to explain things to managers like they're children. It's so frustrating.
Continuing my play through of every Space Quest Game because @drbuttlasers.bsky.social threw money at charity... also i enjoy the franchise... COME HANG OUT AND TELL ME HOW I FN IT UP.

Why isn't their jingle, "It's your day off and you need some quick cash, so you Doordash!" when recruiting?
Panel 1: Lucille Bluth saying "If you're saying I play favorites, you're wrong. I love all my children equally Panel 2: Text that says, "earlier that day..." and Lucille Bluth saying, "I don't care for Gob."

Gonna be honest, my current "Chill Time" activity is taking an edible and watching people roll cigars.
They'll be allowed to take notes in a physical notebook and reference that while we play, but i will have a strict "No Phones" rule in effect during actual play. (Checking messages and such is fine, but if i catch them looking at anything related to the Tomb of Horrors there will be consequences.)
I'll be running "The Tomb of Horrors" on Monday and most of the players are a bit new to D&D. I'm going to give them some time to look it up online before we start playing and i'm wondering if i should give them ten minutes or twenty. #DND #D&D #Tabletop #TombOfHorrors #Hashtag #Acererak #DMAdvice
Realizing a day later that i meant to say, "Ohio", not "Boston". Geology isn't my strong suit.

Also, any of y'all ever run #TheTombOfHorrors ? Or any #OldSchoolD&D ? I like to introduce noobs to the classics, as the kids call it.
These are newer players that i would like to introduce to some of the more adversarial aspects of D&dD, so i feel like explaining is the nicer way of introducing this. I do like the option of giving them a choice for knowledge in this situation.
