Bethany, always wishing to be the peacekeeper, I think kinda swallowed her misgivings. Violeta's relationship witch Carver on the other hand was never that cordial, they're constantly arguing, but it's kinda all the more honest for that.

This is the Hawke family we're talking about, so of course it's complicated and dysfunctional <3 Violeta loves and is deeply protective over her little siblings. As a mage, she always used to be closer to Bethy, but she easily becomes overbearing and infantilizing.
