The urge to lock myself in fullsuit to try and comfort myself after today is strong, but the dysphoria knowing I wont have his new head on my 19th birthday is even stronger.

Aaaaand as I was driving out to go pick up a replacement VR headset today (1), my mother was on the phone with a friend of her's and this gets mentioned. Nice...

1: which failed btw; apparently the seller's son had given it to a friend and they only found out after I drove for an hour to get there

Yeah.. that won't work here. Not worth it to repair this damn thing anyway; thing's so old it'll have another problem the moment I fix the controllers. They aren't supposed to last this long.

Yup. And the controllers are held together by T5 torx screws, which I don't have a screwdriver for.

Welp. Time to start scouring marketplace. I was hoping I could make it last until the Frame comes out, but it turns out I can't.

Sadly the downtown pensacola furmeet got postponed **again** due to construction. Oh well. There is a different meet though!

Luki's maker is going through some stuff too so.. he's not gonna be worked on this week as originally planned.

Luckily apparently my headset doesn't exist in their eyes so... they can't do that to mine xD

Oh they can remotely brick the newer ones too, so I wouldn't be surprised that when they decide to drop support for any of their new headsets it just turns into an inoperable paperweight that tells you to buy a new headset and nothing else.

Removed Luki's old cuffs and added velcro to the ends of the arm pieces on his bodysuit.

Found it was easier to move, and was far comfier. Not sure why I didn't do this before.
