Our headliners were the fabulous Special Friend. It was a pleasure to see them again, with their wonderful indiepop. Their new album is out soon on @skepwax.bsky.social, definitely buy a copy!

Up next were Nottingham's Pict, and boy do they make a glorious racket! They were so good, and their singer is a real force of nature. I feel exhilarated!

Gig number 10 of 2026 sees @wcba.bsky.social and I at the Garibaldi Hotel in Northampton for a @pickynew.bsky.social night. Up first were London's Three Hares, a really melting-pot of sounds, I liked them and lot. There was also an unexplained lemon.
