It's genuinely unreal how good the Oblivion remake is

I cannot believe this was just announced and dropped same day lol

Haven't posted about it over here yet but my God, Tekken 8 season 2 is an aggravating experience and terrible sign of clueless devs.

I enjoy having new things to learn, but these changes are so fundamentally jarring and detrimental to character uniqueness (ironically contradicting their PR talk)

Playing more Claudio recently has really given me this odd perspective of Kazumi-esque neutral with even more ignorant small Tekken tools

I guess it could kinda make sense considering two characters built for T7-era game design philosophy though

Ended 2024 prioritizing self-care a ton today, really hoping to maintain that momentum even when my usual work schedule resumes lol

Grinded Clive to Tekken King but I def think that's my stopping point with him for right now. He's got some cool stuff but this character doesn't suit me at all lol

The ongoing struggle continues to balance Tekken improvement and setting realistic expectations 🙃 I want to keep learning and enjoying the game, but there's so much that puts me off from investing more into it at this point

Investing time into T8 Eddy again this week and I forgot how enjoyable he can be when you're not just trying to diceroll every interaction; I think I overall have a much better idea of how to approach his gameplay so far

Still miserable to fight a competent Eddy tho

I really wish online tournaments felt more enticing for me to join. I know they'd probably help tremendously with improvement but I just don't think I'm built for dealing with the challenges that seemingly come up every single time (connection issues, needless wait times, etc.)

Part situational awareness, part theoretics bc I'm not trying for ff22 punish in many of these instances (though where ff22 can work, f44 is easy and consistent for an engager, or df3+4 launch.)

Similar to Hei HS into raijin 1/2/3 all being an easy launch (though loses to throw or delay timings)
