Nor the buildings in some cases! I imagine many hours sleep are lost across the country trying to balance the budgets.
What are your thoughts on graphic novels? My son will read a comic style in one sitting, but getting him to read a chapter of prose is often really difficult. I don't think he's ready to give up on illustrations either, but "kids books" aren't cool at his age!
I'm definitely one that looks away from a speaker, especially if something is being said that I find intriguing and need to think more deeply about.
As a millennial, I think I'd go woke sandwich over a ham and mustard one! How dare people broaden their culinary horizons ๐
OPAL is definitely having a positive impact at our school. Children are encouraged to imagine more, and we've done a big push on wellies and rain suits to allow more play in (almost) all weather's!
